Chicagoland Photographer | Fashion Shoot with Victoria
Can you believe the weather in NW Indiana right now? It made me want to go out on an impromptu session with one of my 2017 Models. Our main agenda was having fun and keeping it simple. My vision was to show Victoria's raw beauty and do a spin on 80's or 90's Guess or Levi's Ads.
Skinny Jeans, Denim Shirt and Hoop Earrings was our IT look. Victoria drives a BMW and of course we wanted to incorporate it into our shoot. At our location we saw an old tire and it couldn't have been more perfect. Anyone remember that iconic image of Fred with the tires by Herb Ritts? Yeah we weren't going to that exactly but had a little fun with it.
That tire was super heavy but Victoria rocked it in her heels, standing on the concrete and holding the tire while looking amazing.
After we headed to Miller area and did a few shots in some overalls by a graffiti wall. Love those shots, super casula and easy going! Victoria wasn't sure about the overalls but they should be a staple in anyone's wardrobe and right now they are a thing. She made them look super awesome. We also did some epic shots in a rundown building with the camo jacket. We just went with mix and match on that outfit. Adding the tribal necklace made it a bit more edgy.
On our way to the beach we saw some great light by the street and made a quick stop. One of my favorite looks is the all black outfit with ripped jeans and a black turtle neck. A black turtle neck always reminds me of classic actor and model shoots from the 80/90's and with the ripped jeans Victoria made this look her own.
Although it was cold being barefoot at the beach, Victoria proved a pro. The sky had the most calming beautiful pastel colors and it made her all black outfit really stand out. It just let's you focus on her natural beauty! None of the images are photo shopped, just some color adjustments.
We had such a blast and laughed so much. Victoria and I had a great adventure and have some timeless model shots that were not supposed to look like Senior Pictures.
I feel so lucky that Victoria is one of my 2017 Reps and I can't wait to find my 2018 Senior Models. I will be starting my search tomorrow! Be on the Look out!
