Chicagoland Photographer | Aubrey's Beach & Urban
Aubrey contacted me end of last summer but wanted to do her shoot in the spring. So we patiently waited for spring to arrive and finally found a time for our shoot a couple weeks ago. It was not the warmest day but a few things like the trees and tulips were in bloom. As you see from her quote Aubrey is all about nature and loves being photographed! That makes it so much more enjoyable to work with somebody! And yes we kept going forever until there was no light left.
I loved all the outfits - her shoot in 3 words would be VIBRANT. NATURAL. FLOWY. She got her hair done by my friend Madeline Raspe of MAD ABOUT HAIR. Loved her braid and long hair. We had such a blast around Miller and the beach. Her dress was perfect! We were so happy to capture some golden light and lots of nature shots! She told me she just got a new puppy so the next day we met for a few minutes around the Square to capture some shots of her and Luna and her viola.

I think it’s important to capture this moment so that it can be cherished for the rest of your life- “Good times come and go, but the memories will last forever.” It’d be great to have photos to reminisce about your last year of high school; after all, it took 12 years of dedication to get there. The best part I feel was not only getting to dress up, but getting to express myself through the use of my surroundings.
Aubrey, thank you for being so natural and fun to be around! Say Hi to your Puppy!
Best of luck for all your future plans! I think I am going to read that book this summer...while I eat dark chocolate with coconut which is also my favorite ;-)
