Chicagoland Photographer | Introducing my 2017 CHC Senior Model Squad

I am super excited to formally introduce my CHC Senior Brand Models. I picked 6 incredible girls that I really connected with. I feel grateful and happy that our paths crossed and each of them wanted to represent me. A few months ago I've met with each of the girls and their mom's over some yummy coffee at the SIP. Some of those initial meetings lasted an hour or two - we had such a great time hanging out and getting to know each other.

My favorite thing to do is photographing HS Seniors because I can combine my natural, editorial and dramatic style. I love getting to know the girls on a deeper level and truly enjoy working with them.

My goal is to make their Senior Year even more memorable. With a few of the girls I did a Shoot at the Lake County Fair that I will be blogging next. Jordin participated in a shoot we did for mink64, an awesome boutique in Crown Point. With Hannah, I did my first underwater shoot that I will also be blogging shortly.

I asked my girls to answer a few questions and the pictures are from their intro shoots. All my girls have model potential and are gorgeous inside and out! You will be seeing more of them once we do their actual senior sessions in a few weeks.

Jessica - CPHS

Why did you want to be a Model Rep for CHC?

As soon as I saw that Carmen was looking for reps I immediately filled out an application. I loved the drama, and mood of her pictures, it's what I wanted to capture for my senior portraits. Also, my friend Kennedy Krutz showed me her senior gallery and I just fell in love with how all of her pictures turned out and had to get some of my own!

What is your favorite season and why?

My favorite season is the winter months! I know, typical Indiana girl, it's alright, I have good reasons. I LOVE to bake and in the summer the house gets too warm when I use the oven so I have to wait all the way until December to fire it up. Not to mention, I love spending time with my family and just being cuddled up in a heated blanket with the fire place on. It's truly the best time of the year!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I see myself graduated from college and pursuing my dream of becoming a teacher and having a family of my own. If I can't have children right away then I'd like to broaden my horizons and travel, I'd love to go back to Germany and Austria if given the chance!

Favorite thing to do?

My favorite thing to do is paint acrylic flowers (while I'm not at practice of course). I was fortunate enough to be enrolled in a class specially for art this year so it gives me time to work on my pieces. While I work on my portfolio I'm usually jamming out to Florence and the Machine, who happens to be my favorite band. Another hobby of mine is going to Sip and trying out different lattes, or stopping at UMI for a California roll, I'm a coffee and sushi fanatic!

Anything else that you'd like to add?

Besides having the pleasure of being Carmen's Rep, I'm also involved in varsity basketball at the high school. I was voted team captain this year which is an honor and a privilege to lead the team in that way. I'm also a Bride & Joy's ITGIRL.
Besides sports I'm very involved with my family, in some of my pictures from the Fair shoot you can see I wear a small gold necklace. The necklace is in memory of my great grandmother that passed away in December of last year. I always say she played a major role in making me the young women I am today.

Enjoy yourself, enjoy the moment, and enjoy the journey
— Jessica's Life motto

I couldn't have said it better, it's all about enjoying the journey!

Thank you all for being part of another amazing year for CHC and for trusting me with your senior experience. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
