Chicagoland Photographer | Emily D. - Class of 2015

I’ve always had a love for music. My younger brother inspired me to be in band, and I taught myself to play saxophone. I chose saxophone because I love jazz and blues music. Next year, I am attending Purdue University to study Biology, and I am going to continue playing saxophone in marching band and jazz band. I am also going to join a knitting club at Purdue. My aunt taught me to knit when I was young, so I have made lots of warm clothes for my friends and family. Another hobby of mine is running; I ran cross county for seven years. I enjoy staying active and being in nature. Since I was gifted with luscious locks, I figured I shouldn’t be selfish, so every two years or so I donate my hair. I chose Carmen to take my senior pictures because she was a recommendation from a friend. Then, when I looked at some of Carmen’s work I absolutely loved it, especially its originality. Carmen is a wonderful artist!

I love doing senior portraits! I especially love doing them, when someone has a clear vision of what they want and chooses me because our styles mesh...Hello Emily!

What can I say? It was love at first shot...seriously! Look at that natural beauty and yes the hair is something I could obsess over. Emily has so many hobbies and talents and is super easy going and humble. Her mom and grandma are awesome!

Emily, I wish you so much luck for your future!

P.S. Your new hair cut looks awesome!
